I recently got a 4D 300 Tour and can't wait to try it out. Back in high school I used a LM Radical MP for a season, and I've read how Head measures head size differently, but holy cow. The 98sq inches on the 300 Tour looks huge compared to what I remember the LM Radical's 98sq inches to be. It looks closer to the 102sq inch size of my Ti. Carbons, which make sense since they must be closer to a 100sq inches on the normal size scale.

Any, I can't wait to lead the 300 Tour up and give it a go. Just thought I would put this out there since there really seems to be a big difference, visually at least.

I like the sound of the 300T spec too. Do you not think the Dunlop heads look longer but narrower than Head heads? Maybe it creates an optical illusion? Nice one to have though, thinking we are swinging an essentially control orientated racket with a larger head.

Keep us posted with how you get on.

The radical is really a 95. The 300 tour is really a 97.

I was going to mention that before. I had been looking at a lot of pics of the 300 Tour online before I bought this one, and the head shape of the one I have looks long. Def longer than Head frames, and mine kinda looks longer than what I'm finding online. It's by the smallest of margins, though, so it may be an optical illusion in this case, I know it's hard to capture the true shape of a racquet head in a picture. The racquet is the full 27in long, and after measurements, the head of my 300 Tour is roughly 35cm down the mains (from the outside of the lower hoop to the absolute top of the racquet) and 26cm along the crosses (again, from the outside of the frame at 3 and 9 o'clock). Can someone with a 4D 300 Tour measure and compare? Thanks

Cool, thanks. From what I remember the Radical's head looked like it had more than a 2 inch difference, but I'm trying to pull the memory from about 6 years ago haha

Also, I'm seeing on some 4D 300 Tours that there is a grip size under the "4D" on the outside of the throat. Mine doesn't have that. Is it a sticker, or maybe the newer/older models didn't have it on the paint job?

And is there supposed to be a bit of a lip where the red and black meet in the neck all the way up to the lower hoop? It's not supposed to be on solid neck, like a LM Radical has, right?

Just hit with one of my really old LMRadMids today.
After a year with Dunlop's Aero500's, and 2 years with Mfil and Aero 200's.
No problem adjusting, and I even hit against a hard hitter with my right hand, me lefty. LMRadMid is solid, has lots of strings, moderate weight with a moderately heavy SW, VERY accurate, and I didn't notice in difference in head size even though the HeaDLM is smaller than my Dunlop200's by a hair.
The only thing I didn't like, which is the reason I left one in PuertoRico, is that on shots hit high in the head, the effect is JARRING to my shoulders.

There is no LM Radical Mid, did you mean Mid Plus? or did you mean Prestige Mid?

Mid, the "98" sized one which is just a hair bigger than my Mfil200's and Aero.
You know, the orange thing with some black in the sides of the head.

98 is mid plus, just saying. I'm more interested in discussing what I said in posts 4 and 6, though

Can anyone help with the racquet head main and cross lengths?
