¿Where has this string been hiding for so long?

I bought an RDX 500 MP from another TWer and it came strung with Head Ultra Tour string @ 61. I usually hit with PHT 17g 57/55 lbs and the Head Ultra Tour, even at a higher tension, felt a lot softer, regardless of the flex on the RDX.

Anyone else out there using this poly? What are your thoughts?

I like the UltraTour a lot. Definite a soft poly. I usually play with PHT 17 in the mains, but I decided to try out the UltraTour in their place. Good price, good string, but get more spin out of the PHT 17.

I agree, have in a Prince Hybrid Tour and I like it a lot, no arm problems at all, plays much like a good syn but every now and again one of my drives will look like they are going long and suddenly drop in just like other polys. Much better than the other head poly - Sonic.

Dang, I busted Ultra Tour within 3 hours of play. It was the string that came with an RDX500MP that I had bought, so I assume there was some play on it already.

I've ordered some more sets. Hopefully they'll last.

I use Head Ultra Tour 17. I really like the blue color but I stay with gray. I use a hybrid of Ultra Tour in mains at 54 and Prince Synthetic in crosses at 52. It feels really nice when you break into the string. It is about 2-4 hour break in time.
