it's 18x20 but it seems really tight at my default tension of 55lb full poly Solinco tour bite but it's really tight with all other strings too. Plays like it's 65+lbs imo. I'm thinking of dropping it to 45lbs or less.

If it feels too tight drop the tension or use a different string.

I tried using BHBR @ 35 lbs, and it plays really well.

I have one with a co-poly at 54 - feels nice but loses tension after a few hours - thinking of going tighter the next time.

I have it strung with SP hyperion at 53 lbs right now. Feels much better than at 55 lbs. But I will definitelly go to 51/49 lbs next time.

I had the same issue as you, OP. Normally strung at 55, but it played so much tighter than that. I dropped it to 49-50 and it played great there.

Had the exat same issue. Strung my brand new YT Prestige MPs with SPPP Pure 1.18 x Tornado 1.17 @ 45/44, the exact same setup I was using on my BM200s.

Felt very stiff, boardy, and unstable.

Dropped the tension to 41/39 with SPPP Pure 1.18 x MSV Focus Hex 1.10. Now I have that buttery feel again, lots of power with amazing control, and SS feels bigger now.

For a Prestige MP, I strung around 54. It's already low powered and spin-deficient. I thought the best way to cope with it was to get a lively copoly and string it at a lower tension I was used to (I would string at 58 lbs). Played pretty amazing.

Current setups are 365 grams, 5 points HL with what looks like a multi or copoly in one and a hybrid of multi+co-poly in the other. Nice combination of enough power, spin and lots of control. There's enough power to play a decent topspin game though it takes more effort than a polarized setup. It's nice and stable with a decently lively stringbed.
