Not sure if this is the right place to post a question about this, but anyways.
To all the people that sweat a lot during a game, what do you wear to retain the sweat? A cap, headband, bandana?

I'm always wearing a cap, I find it's good at first, but by the end of the game, the cap is so wet because of the sweat that I find it makes me sweat even more, especially when I play indoor. I was thinking of switching to a bandana, but I do have fear. Does it hold the sweat better? Also I always thought bandana looked good only on people with longer hair, I have very short hair.

    Any thoughts?

I always wear hat when I play. Keeps sweat out of my eyes and helps with the sun in bright conditions plus I've done it for so long that I'm just used to it.

I recommend something moisture wicking/quick drying like adidas climacool or adizero or nike feather hats. If you really do sweat through those think about bringing extra hats along in your bag, including one to change into after you are done playing.

Already using the nike feather hats or the RF caps. They're good, but too wet after 1 hour.

I'm with Goran Ace on bringing extra hats. You either need to do that or plan on wringing the sweat out.

Change to paleo diet and reduce sweating. That's what I did. Also using a UA Catalyst cap which is great in shedding moisture (not enough for my massive pre-paleo amounts though...). Cap is mostly for the fact that indoors lighting can be really annoying at times.

On the worst days I wore a headband or bandana under my cap.

    Normal days cap is enough.

I live and play in Florida. I wear a bandana under my cap. The cap presses the bandana on my forehead (gently) and keeps sweat from rolling in my eyes. Bring extra to change if needed; but the gentle pressure of the bandana on my forehead does the trick. Be sure to color code with your shirt and pants; lest you look like a clown.
