Ok so i know its important to use tennis shoes, In past I've tried a few pairs and they all slowed me down bigtime and I mean bigtime. Speed is one my best threats so I stoped using them. Ive had the best luck with nike running shoes mainly due to their lightweight and the dual fusion i wear have so much support its amazing. That being said I know I should use tennis shoes so is there any out there literally as light as a running show something that wont bog me down like the few others I tired? I did some research and I saw some mention, v9 but I'm looking for the lightest shoe possible. Help very appretiated.

The Adidas adizero cc feather 2 are the lightest shoes I've ever worn. When I weighed one of them, it was a little over 11 ounces.

I really liked the adizero feathers. They felt like heaven, but they died so freaking fast, it was unreal... Unless you want to spend like 40 bucks every 3 months on shoes. (warranties included)

The Nike Vapor 9s are light for tennis shoes, but not the lightest out there.

As quest01 says, the Feather 2s seem to be the lightest standard tennis shoe on offer at the moment. It should be more durable than a lighter running shoe.

Some other lightweight shoes, though not as light as the Feather 2, to consider are the Yonex 304 and NB 996.

I wish it were that cheap as I'm destroying 6 pairs a year. Sigh.

    Yeah but like people said:

    a) They wear fast
    b) They don't seem to have the same traction as Barricades 5-7 or Nike CB 4.3

I would recommend Nike CB 4.3 as they feel fast...
