Looks fine to me, except for those nails. I don't know what that is about.
That looks fake to me... 9 pts. HH?
I don't know if you realised but the Balance says 9 Points Head Heavy! Definitely fake! It also says Tength not Length!
Damn, you're right...........
Now I know that I have been had.
I'm gonna get my refund ASAP.
Wow, what kind of moron who tries to make a fake racquet would mispell Length and put such a fake balance.
the quality hologram look fake too...thats a weird racquet...
hahahaha i just noticed that length was mispelled. its a fake lol.
And it also says "HEAOSIZE".
Actually, that's the just Font, my U.S. spec one looks exactly like that.
Yeah I was gonna say that it sort of looks like it could be a Wilson D.
And the SI is 6.0 not 6.1
On my U.S. Spec version, it says the same thing SI 6.0
That's a really bad job of making a fake. It looks like he painted the spec box in by hand where it says 9 pts HH. Sorry to hear that you got ripped off. Try reporting him to e bay and see if you can get your money back. By the way, how much was it?
p.s. Try playing with it before you give it back/throw it out. I'm curious to see how it would play.
I'm not even going to string it, I'm just gonna return it for sure.
I have paid about $100.00 for it.
Shouldn't the racquet be filled with "Nanofoam"?
whod you buy it from? so that that doesnt happen to us.
did you notice the 11.3 oz unstrung weight??? but you say teh racket is 12.1 oz unstrung?
that's definitely fake.
Breakpoint owns a couple of the Asian Tour 90 so he might be the best one here to comment on what it should look like (he might also be able to tell you what the measured specs are on his).
Regardless, I wonder what a 'factory-seconds' racquet would look like? I mean, those frames which don't pass quality control for one or another reason (cosmetic problems, poorly finished, balance too far off scale).
How can the Swing Index be 6.0 if it's called n6.1?
I'm not too familiar with the "Asian" nSix-One. But by the fact along that the racquet even says "TENGTH" on it gives it away.
I'd contact the seller as soon as possible, and KICK HIS ***!!!
LIVE SEX WEBSHOWS
Nope, the SI (Swing Index) is 6.0 since it's based on the PS 6.0 Original. "Six-One" is just the name of the racquet, and has NOTHING to do with the swing index.
BTW, the only thing that looks fake to me from those pics is that spec sticker. Some of the text is crooked and it does say "HH" instead of "HL" for the balance. Plus the "TENTH" instead of "LENGTH".
Looks like some factory employee in the Wilson factory had his own little pet project. :-o That's why when you buy from the big auction site, you do so at your own risk.
Because Federer just happens to be 6' 1". LOL
Ok so let me get this straight... The N6.1 Tour is based on the PS6.0 85 not the Tour 90 (Not sure about SI for Tour 90) and the N6.1 95 is based on the PS 6.1 95?
The PS 6.0 85/95, PS Tour 90, and the nSix-One Tour are all from the "6.0" family line, thus they all have SI's of 6.0.
The PS 6.1 Classic, HPS 6.1, and nSix-One 95 are all from the "6.1" family line, thus they all have SI's of 6.1.
Does that clear it up for you?
Remember last post, a person posted that he had nails on his ncode as well. I think he also bought a Fake nCode.
Anyway, can you take a picture of your REAL Asian nCode 90 ?
I just need a reference of inside the Throat that has the specs.
Thank you in advance.
jmk2888, who was the seller?
Wow.. those nails look scary
Sorry, I cannot disclosed that info.
He's been very helpful, and I am able to get me FULL refund.
Sorry, but my digicam is so old that it would never be able to take a clear pic of the spec label. But suffice to say that the label is identical to that on the U.S. version EXCEPT is says "320 grams (11.3 oz.)" for the weight and "31.5 cm (9 pts HL)" for the balance. Everything else on the spec label is the same as on the U.S. version.
Also, both of my Asian nCode 90's were made in 2004 so they have the silver spec label instead of the black spec label they now use, so it may not make a good comparison since they'll look different just glancing at them.
it's fake....but definitly a good one....(except for some details)
sorry my friends, but you got owned....
If you go to the auction site (again), there's an (alleged) Asian nCode 90 up for sale. While I can't vouch for its authenticity there are a few pictures that might be helpful (especially the specs listed on the throat:quite different to yours).
The auction number is 230057231080
The nails appear to be from when whoever replaced the grip with a babolat grip they used nails instead of a staple to secure the end of the grip. Not factory.
Its probably just a used raquet and some one just tried to make it look new. And maybe he is an idiot and wanted to add some wieght and heee ??? added nails into the grip handle????
jmk288- Do you want me to put up some pics since I just got mine?
I bought an Asian Ncode 90 from Breakpoint last year and have sold it since. But here are some pics of my current one if it helps http://new.photos.yahoo.com/ckh1101/album/576460762320839472.
Thanks for the Photos, looks like the Butt Caps was the dead give away.
I just got a refund from the seller of the Racket.
He is a great guy, he did not know it was a fake racket as well.
He totally understand and gave back the refund right away.
I'm still not going to release his info, but he's good guy in my book.
Anybody has a Real Asian nCode 90 that they want to sell ?
No asian version is 11.3 unstrung.
Triple Post, sorry.
Then what's the weight ?
That is the weight (11.3 oz. unstrung).
I think I missed understood it.
Anyways, thanks for everyone's help and the racket is being returned.
