I recently think of using Alu Power for cross and some shaped poly like Babolat RPM Team/Signum Pro Hextreme/Head Sonic Pro for main but still confusing. May I have your advice on this issue, and if the answer is yes, which tension for main/cross it should be?

    Many thanks.

    Depends...
    1. what are you aiming for (to get from your stringbed)?
    2. how often do you restring?
3.are you going for a poly/poly hybrid or would you consider alternatives for the mains?
    4. what racket do you play with?

I expect the ultimate power from Alu and spin from a shaped poly. I use a Head IG Speed 300 and remove the strings when they become dead. Poly for main is my first priority but of course if there's a better choice I'll consider, ALu for cross is mandatory because I've never tried it for cross. Alu is a little too stiff for my arm so I want to hybrid with a softer poly.

    Thank U so much.

Alu is not the most powerfull poly but it seems you like it a lot so if we assume you keep Alu for the crosses then you could go for RPM Team (as good as Blast but much softer) or for RazorCode wich is pretty comfortable and spin friendly.
Another choice would be Yonex polytour or polytour spin.
In my opinion they are the softest polys that play as good as any.

If you want to go for more feel and power you could use a multi like X1 bi phase. Super elastic and arm friendly.

Anyway If you insist on poly/poly hybrid I'd go for Yonex.
Dont be scared by the bright yellow color-it comes out in black too...!!!

I dont know you stringing specs but as a general rule I would string Alu 10% lower than my mains of choice. If you put something other than poly in the mains I would go even 20% lower for the Alu.

    Thats just my opinion.....
    hope it helps....
