Can you guys help me figure out what racquet is this?

Just bought it together with a wood Dunlop Maxply.
Pictures of the MaxPly racquet in my blog: Link

For what I can tell its a Donay Graphite CGX.

    Does anyone knows this racquet?

    Cheers!

    Thanks anyway :)

I just found some info onthis racquet on http://woodtennis.ecrater.com web site.

"donnay CGX 25 bjorn borg graphite model tennis racket
This racket is donnay competitor to the wilson sampras prostaff. Its the prototype to the donnay borg pro graphite model and a great players racket to have in an early graphite old school racket collection"

Also found this info here on the message board.

"... the C.G.X 25 which is midsize ,thin constant beam (17 mm) and very solid, 16*19 pattern. heavy and stable (363gr.strung), came out in the mid 80's, Made in Belgium.

The number 25 stands for 25% bigger then the standard 70 sq.inch so your 25 will be 25 % bigger which is about 87,5 sq"

    Sounds good.

The C.G.X 25 is no Prototype and Borg never used the C.G.X 25. Borg never had his name attached in anyway to the C.G.X 25. That link is to a description that is being used to sell a C.G.X 25 that is not accurate. It was sold in about 1983-85. A standard headsize was 65sq.inch Although the american wood racquets were 68sq.inch and the European were slightly smaller at 65sq.incc.

If you a little patience maybe ericsson our resident Donnay expert will help out. But that guy selling the CGX 25 always calls racquets from the same mold as prototypes. :???:
