It's highly unlikely I will switch racquets, because I already have 4 of my current stick. I have a bag to match, and I don't want to spend the money for new racquets and go through the hassle of selling my old ones. Plus, I'm used to these. But it's fun to dream anyway and bat around ideas/opinions/suggestions with other enthusiasts. Currently: 4 Fischer M Pro One 98s, mostly stock but with a bit of lead at 3 & 9. Style of play: Agressive baseliner in the 4.0 range. Good flat first serve, descent slice and kick serve. Like to come to net to finish points when possible. Do not like long drawn out points. Characteristics I like in a racquet: - Should feel like it is "swallowing" or "absorbing" the ball. I don't care for still frames (don't like it when the ball feels like it is "launching" off the string bed). - Should be a very control oriented frame. - Should not be at all head heavy. - Probably would not considered evenly weighted either. - Should be a readily available frame (not something I have to buy used necessarily) Brands I would not switch to (for one reason or another -- unimportant why): Wilson Babolat Probably not Head Probably not Prince Probably not Dunlop I like lesser used/known brands, because that's just how I am (there is no rhyme or reason to it). Brands I've liked in the past: Fischer Gamma Volkl Suggestions?
