    Hi guys.

I sprained my right ankle again. It is the second time in 3 month. I had the first one at the end of the March. It was sort of severe. I had to leave a court for a month. I came back to court on May. Since then, I played 2~3 time a week until last night.

At the doubles game, I swung the backhand stroke. Somehow and I don't know why. I jumped and swung. When my right foot fell back to ground, I lost my balance and sprained the ankle.

While I am rebuilding my ankle muscle, I want to find a good ankle support. Can you guys recommend an good ankle support?

    Thanks,
    Ryan.

    Consider the ASO ankle brace.

Here is part of the description from Tennis Warehouse:

"This is one of the most popular supports on the pro tour and is the brace of choice for Andy Roddick. With a combination of a Cool Flex tongue, figure-8 stabilizing straps, lace-up boot and elastic cuff make this brace more supportive and comfortable than almost any other brace on the market."

Looks one I am looking for.

I am about to purchase the ankle brace.
However the size chart makes me confuse.

I wear US 8.5 shoes and the ankle circumstance is 12.5 inch with socks.

Based on the shoe size chart I have to buy a small size (My foot width is regular), but my ankle circumstance fits for a medium size.

    Can you help me out?

I wear the ASO brace and highly recommend it. I wear size 11 shoes and got the brace in a size large. The brace runs a little big on me, but I can lace it up tightly so it still works great.

Hopefully that helped you out some.

I contacted to the ASO customer center yesterday. He told me to follow the size of my ankle circumstance. Thus, I order the medium size.

This support is a good one to actually play tennis in, since it lacks the metal side supports like the ones further up the support chain do.
