    Hey guys!

I am looking for some new shoes to play tennis with. I have been playing with a pair that are probably not good on my feet for playing tennis with. I bought this pair of Pumas almost exactly 4 years ago now. I've put them through a lot and they are still holding up just fine surprisingly. I've mainly used them to run on the treadmill at the gym. A lot. And then more recently, for tennis. This is the state they are in now:

Are shoes like these even a good idea for playing tennis with?

I'm looking for something in the $50 range. I want some good cushioning because when I do play, I walk a few miles to the court, play for about 3 hours non stop and then walk a few miles back home. By the time I'm done my feet are very tired, and could do with better cushioning. My preferred brands would be Nike, Adidas and Babolat, but if there is something out there that beats these brands out in the price range, then do suggest it :)

    Thanks!

Thanks I'll look into those. Do they run small/big or are they normal? My foot measures at an 8 exactly, but sometimes 8 is too tight. I have a couple that are 8 that fit fine, and then some 8.5... Hopefully I can find these in store to try out.

Also does Nike have something similar to the Bercuda in the same price range?

Thank you. I can't seem to find the Bercuda in stock in any stores that I've called so far. Maybe I'll have better luck with the Nike ones.

From my personal experience, the Bercudas are really great on abything but durability. They lasted exactly 4 weeks.

yeah, that would be the smartest choice, since it has the 6month guarantee

Well I went to Sports Authority a couple hours ago and bought the Nike City Court 6. They were on sale so I got them even cheaper. They ended up being $43.

    How do you like them?

I have those shoes right now and not that comfortable. The break-in period really hurt and the soles dont feel right.

Sorry for the late reply. Reason being, I tried them for the first time today lol. They were alright. Not too comfortable yet since they are stiff and brand new, but I can imagine them softening up and being pretty nice. They have some pretty nice padding. I also really like how they look!
