I ordered new strings and here's what I'm looking to do:
One of my Head LM Radical MP will be strung with Luxilon BB TiMO 17 for the mains and Forten Sweet 17 for the crosses.
My other Head LM Radical MP will be strung with Babolat Pro Hurricane 17 for the mains and Forten Sweet 17 for the crosses.
I'm totally lost as to what tension to string these two setups with. FYI: I'm a 4.5 player. I hit pretty hard with normal spin. I have a one-handed backhand. My serve is my strength.
I normally string these rackets at 62 lbs. Recently I've strung a 3rd Radical with Ashaway Monogut 17 - mains (@ 58lbs.) and Ashaway Syn. Gut 17 - crosses (@ 62 lbs.). I do like this setup but wanted to try the Luxilon and Babolat strings.
I've heard and read about stringing certain Poly's at a lower tension, etc. I'm wondering if either the Luxilon or Babolat I ordered apply to this tension rule.
So what tension does everyone recommend?
Please Help.
