I was reading a section on tenniswarehouse that mentioned stringing a poly & nat. gut blend to help durability and feel.

I wanted to do this (i have my own machine) but have only used one type of string in my past. Im going to be using syn. gut since i have a huge roll of it sitting around the house. My main question is, do they want me to string every other main with the 2 types of strings? Pattern being: syn/poly/syn/poly? what do you use for the crosses then?

thanks in advance for your help guys!

Hybrids use one type in the mains and one type in the crosses. Usually poly mains with synthetic or gut crosses.

LoL, see that's what I had originally thought and read in the past, but when i read another article on tenniswarehouse, I thought it read both mains were poly/gut.

I just re-read it and it does specity poly mains, gut crosses. oops!
