I read this article from a link in my Twitter feed. So Hewitt is in the quarters of Queen's Club after wins over Dimitrov and Querrey. These are players who probably would have beaten him if this was a different tournament. But Lleyton has great memories of this place and the grass suits his game more, as the article says.

I wonder what will happen in his next match against Del Potro. And even if he does get past Delpo, he will likely have to go through players like Berdych and Murray or Tsonga. Those guys are like a level or two up compared to his previous opponents.

I also remember there was a year when he played Halle instead of Queen's. He even upset Federer. I think that was 2010.

Is this gonna be another turn-back-the-clock result for Rusty?

Unfortunately, Lleyton is as done as the steak I had 3 days ago.

Del Potro will probably beat him today, but still hoping he can go all the way! As foolish as that maybe.

He has a grass infusion once a year then he lapses into hibernation.

Hewitt can beat Delpo, he's playing great right now, two big wins and Delpo has a little brother syndrome thing with Hewitt who was his tennis hero. Delpo could defer this match to Hewitt who wants and needs it alot more than Delpo does.

It was sweet seeing his little boy on the court with him after the game too.

Great result for Hewitt. This is turning into another turn-back-the-clock performance. He is gonna play Cilic next, who beat Berdych. It turns out that Cilic is the defending champ after all. I think his performance against Hewitt will depend on whether he is gonna feel any pressure as defending champ. I can't see Hewitt beating him if he is inspired. But if he's feeling some nerves, Hewitt will have more than a fair chance.

Murray is through to the other semi where it looks like he will be playing Tsonga. Anyone predicting a Murray-Hewitt final? And what would most likely happen in that scenario?

It's great to see Hewitt playing so well at this tournament.

I think Cilic will beat Hewitt, but if he defeats him and goes into a final against Murray, I don't see him winning. He might take a set, but Murray would win it in the end.

Agreed. I didn't expect him to beat Delpo.

I'd forgotten how good looking she is!

Hewitt won't be seeded at Wimbledon presumably? As a match up on grass, I think he could be a very dangerous 1st round opponent for Nadal in particular if he were to get a big gun early on. He also beat Federer at Halle a couple of years back as well, didn't he?

As a Fed fan, I certainly hope he steers well clear of his section.

Hewitt always perks up the first week on grass because he grew up playing on it and can acclimate faster. By the third week on grass everyone has acclimated and he's out of contention.

So you cooked it 3 days ago? Are you one of those people who like your steak extra well-done?

EDIT: Oh wait. It's late and I'm tired, which means that my reading comprehension is crap.

Lol. Personally I like my steak well done. I don't really need any pink at all. But right when it's done, not 3 days after :p

I'm just deleting this post completely. To Michael, the chef in me says "BOOOOO!" whereas the me in me says "good for you!".

Now I'm going to sleep before I write more silly posts about cannibalism (to new readers, that's all I'll divulge).

You can have a steak well done that is still tender and juicy and not bleeding lol. I've tried it all kinds of ways but I just can't do beef that isn't cooked through.

Funny how this thread is turning out... I never ever would associate Hewitt with beef steak. :D
