Today i woke up extra early, like a child on xmas morning, to see if Suresh has gone bionic, and of course Santa has not let me down.

I am beside myself with joy.

I think it means he can now poast twice as much, in half the time at a quarter of the previous quality. :)

However, I am not aware of any scientific instrument that can measure anything that low. ;)

Santa is an alcoholic convicted felon that dresses in a red suit and lets children sit on his lap at the mall. Nice guy. :)

Oh so he now (after turning BIONIC) has a third eye with which he can smite trolls (read: Fed fans).

I shall have to observe suresh-ratri every year on this great day !

Darn, reminds me of Miracle on 34th Street. Totally inebriated Santa... lovely flick.

In India, Santa actually refers more to Santa and Banta Singh -- two idiots on whom many jokes are based.

    Santa anagrams to .... Satan.

Santa and Banta Singh? It sounds like Oliver and Hardy. ;)

As for my earlier comment, it is only half in jest. I don't know how people have the balls to take their kids to the mall and let them sit on a stranger's lap who probably has some criminal record.

Will suresh become complacent now that he is BIONIC ? Has he achieved his purpose in life ?

Is he going to school Bud and BP ? Will this be the start of a strong era ?

With bionic status comes great responsibility. I cannot post in a carefree manner like you any more. I have to weigh my words carefully.

Yes, Oliver spawned a couple of sons who were quite adept at solving mysteries. Senti was a big fan of them before things began breaking badly.

We should give bionic status to more folks, if it helps keep TTW clean.

    Seriously though, congrats Suresh.

There was a big gap for me between the Hardy Boys (pre-teen) and my heavy reading (late teens and college) of Vonnegut, Kesey, Tolkein and Heinlein. I think I filled it with the great rock music of the mid to late 60's.

Now that you are BIONIC, you'd prefer super-humans to mere mortals.

(I prefer dogmatix, without the dogma and the ticks).

Dogmatix. I like the sound of that. It could be an attractive Math teacher that breaks out the leather and whip when her students fail to prove something.

^ Actually judging by the women's names in A&O such as Rotunda, I would not be surprised if there was a woman named Algebra in their village.

Anyway, so now we all know where suresh picked up his awesome punning capabilities from.

I could see Joe Pesci doing a good take on sureshs..."You think I'm punny? Punny how? Ha ha punny? Punny like I'm a clown? Like I'm here to amuse you so you can laugh at me? How?"

IS he going to IIM-C ?

I had a boss who was from there. One of the best bosses i had.

Don't frighten him. He'll cancel his admission.

I want to carry minimum baggage. One rucksack and one suit case is what I have planned to carry.I'll be using rucksack to carry t shirts, jeans, laptop, flip flops, water bottles etc.Formal clothes suchs a Shirts and Pants are something which ill keep in the suitcase.Hostel rooms are awesome but they are compact, so i cant keep heavy luggage which will occupy too much space

    Good luck.

Get one good quality suit with two trousers, preferably dark coloured. And a good quality tie. Couple of plain white shirts. Socks that match the colour of the suit trousers (never wear white socks when you are dressed in formals). 1 pair of good quality formal shoes, not too pointed toes. Save them for special occasions.

    Shave and shower everyday.
I hated guys in my MBA class who would turn up unshaven, slovenly and poorly dressed, trying to maintain the same IIT-geek persona.

Read up for classes and make useful contributions to the class discussions.
