I'm getting my gaul bladder removed on Thursday. So i will miss the action here and at Paree. But should be back in time for the semis. Had some hectic days getting tests, ultrasounds and x-rays. The rates charged by docs here is obscene.

I've never been a believer in alternative med, but at this rate i will have to start exploring.

What is the problem with your gall bladder?

I have some 1-2mm sized gallstones.

Also, it seems the GB was slightly distended which resulted in the pain.

I had general discomfort in the ab area a couple of hours after lunch, and at night i had pain on the right side under the ribs, which is the GB area. The pain was there all night and was relieved by a pain-killer in the morning. The pain has not returned.

I have an Ayurvedic doc friend who says that gall stones can be removed through medication, and a friend who says that homeopathy also can treat this.

However, my family doc recommended we check with a specialist (who is a surgeon) and they did not seem to have any doubts about removing it.

Maybe my family doc does not want the stones descending and causing issues later (jaundice, pancreatitis etc). Strange thing is that my diet has already been very low in fat due to my dad's heart problem.

Will you auction your gall bladder like Nadal is going to auction his appendix?

I did not want my gall bladder to overshadow Nadal's appendix at Sotheby's/Christie's. It's probably lying around in some dump behind the hospital, or in the incinerator.

But they did bottle the gall-stones and give it to me. I wonder if any tennis historian on TW might like it.

Right now the thing is being biopsied (acco to some rules).

Do you want it for your mantelpiece -- to put alongside all your tennis trophies ?

Couple of Holi events here too, one on the beach I think

One is going on right now about 5 minutes from here. But I have to buy a ticket, so I am wondering if it is worth it.

That is very common. Young women are perceived to be peaceful and clean and pay their rents on time, while young men like Tushy are perceived as potential trouble makers. When my late mother-in-law was looking to rent out the lower floor, her first preference was "IT girls." She eventually rented it out to a business (who hasn't paid rent to my father-in-law since November citing poor sales).

    Hi guys

I have re-located back to India and was wondering if there would be any takers for my K factor 90 and Prostaff 85 here in India, I have traded stuff here on TT before but in the USA . I need to switch to a lighter frame.
