HH or HL

  1. How can i tell whether a racquet is Heah heavy or head light if i dont have a stats sheet or sumthing in front of me? like a balancing act?

    measure the racquet length. then from the median of the the lenth, balance it and see whether it shifts to the head or the handle

    Exactly. Standard racquets are 27", so the middle would be 13.5". Put a round pencil on a level table under the 13.5" mark (it should be somewhere along the throat) of your racquet. If it tips forward (head), then it's head heavy.

    BTW, make sure your racquet is strung.

  5. Thx guys! i want sure exactly how to do it for ive seen the "good ol'" Finger in the throat method be shot down for roughness and crudeness. Thx!
