if I want to get a ball to bounse a ball high with out lobbing, do I put a ton of topspin? sometimes I either finish the follow through by going over the head or a contact have brushing upwards but like nthe racket head facing the ground

High bounce, hit topspin, but hit it high over the net and deep to the baseline.

Use high contact point and windshield wiper swingpath/finish.

The ball will basically never jump higher than it was before the bounce, so to hit a shot at the opponents shoulder height it needs to be higher than that before the bounce.

You need to place the ball deep with pace and lots of topspin, and get the ball 6+ft above the net to really throw off an oppent
