Just wondering if anyone has participated in the morning clinic at the Hilton Waikoloa? it says its for intermediate to advanced players, but i am sure that means that anyone that can actually hold a racquet is welcome (for 30 bucks!)

    Thanks

Took advantage of the clinic a couple of years ago. Three others ranging from 3.0 to 4.0. After the pro saw I was a little better than the rest, he gave me some individual instruction and drilling.

What a beautiful resort! Very jealous! The tennis courts are very nice - I believe they have a Challenger event there every year. Back when we were at the Waikoloa, the pro said that the Bryan brothers and James Blake would practice at the facility after New Years to prepare for the Australian Open. I still play in the t-shirt I picked up there - but starting to get a little old.

Make sure you take the time to go scuba diving. Jack's Diving Locker in Kona has great offers for a 2 tank dive even if you are not certified.

    Have a great time!
