Yesterday, I was hiting around and my partner hit a low ball to my back hand (1HBH). I bent my knee to get low to the ground and swung, but ended up hitting my fingers aginst my knee on the stroke (ouch!). I've done this a few times.

Has anyone else done this? Is this because I'm not hitting far enough out front?
