Hi, I have had some trouble with me knee for some time, nothing major but still bothersome. I finally had an MRI and the specialist diagnosed that I had "Hoffa's fat pad entrapment" as a result of a heavy fall two years ago. It's nothing as bad as feared like damage to the patella but simply some swelling under the patella. He recommended a cortison shot against that. I am not asking about any second opinions here. Just wondering if anyone on this board has had any experience with either this type of injury or cortisone. I'd just like to get some impressions from other people. Thanks!
