How often and where do you usually play? Know any good courts near the galleria area that are usually free and I don't have to worry about people reserving them all the time?

Hmm...there's not much in the way of free courts inside the loop.

The closest free courts to the Galleria that I know of are about a mile east on Westhiemer between Wesleyan and Buffullo Speedway. There are four courts there.

Of course the Memorial Park Tennis center is close to the Galleria, too - but, they're not free.

Are those courts lit? The ones that you are talking about? And is there usually people waiting for the courts?

I think those courts on Westheimer are are lit. I don't know how busy they are - I don't drive by them very often.

Galleria..if you drive to Meyerland (about 5 minutes in good traffic) you can find plenty of parks in the area. Linkwood, Meyerpark, etc.

I live North of Houston and usually play at Atascocita or Walden. When I'm down near the galleria I'll play in a Friday night mixer at Piney Point.
