I think he has about 7050 or something right now, almost exactly what he had last time. But he defended a semi with a final, so he dropped 450 and got 700 points. Shouldn't his total have gone up by 250? Does the stagger have something to do with this?

It was 7010, up by 250 to 7260, but down by 225 (last year's Halle points) to the 7035 it is now

Oh ok, so I guess next week we will see a new high for ranking points when his Halle points get added on and he doesn't lose anything since he didn't play after Halle last year.

How come his points didn't go up? Because anyone who is a set up in a grand slam final and decides that he lost a match after a couple of loose games doesn't deserve to have points added. God, his presser was depressing.
