Is it a technique thing or string set up cause I mean the pros can hit the perfect amount of depth while blind folded with one leg hopping using their opposite hand!

With a video please. Lack of depth can be explained by so much stuff, I don't think it would be interesting to sum everything up because we don't even know what's going on with your strokes.

You punch a volley if you need depth, I can get as much depth on a volley with a really stiff poly as I do with a gut/poly hybrid.

It's all of the above. Find a racket and string setup that gives you enough power, and then a technique to keep the ball deep, but still able to hit those short angle ones. You can't do that by a simple powerful racket alone. You could hit every one of those out.

Give volleys a little bit of underspin and let them "hover" deep. Works best below net and near net height.

Are you sure you need more?
What is going wrong as a result of your current depth?

Good coaching and lots of practice should fix the issues. Tennis is a high skill game and there are no easy answers.

control the height of the ball. to hit deeper, you can aim higher over the net. try hiting lower on the ball to lift the ball higher.
u dont really have to change tecnique. just adjust the angle of the strings to hit lower on the ball.

Lead tape: either at 9 and 3, or a long strip from 11 to 1 to polarize the racket. Add until desired depth/power is achieved..(but not more than 1/2 ounce or then the rest of your game may go off).

Depth is a relative concept :D How are you defining depth? Ball bounce point? Opponent contact point?

Depth is a relationship between ball spin, trajectory (height) and racquet speed. PLay about with each variable (they are all connected) and see which works best for you in respect of controlling your depth.
