I just acquired a Yonex RDX 500MP and took out the original, well worn grip and it left a lot of gunk on the grip pallet.

Is there a solution to best clean the grip pallet?

Thanks, I'll try that. For golf we use mineral spirits to take of gunk but that will take off the paint.

I've used acetone successfully for a number of years. Available in the nail care section of your drug store. Apply with cotton balls or cotton buds.

I don't know what's in it but I use "Goof Off". Not the water based version. Works like a champ.
