would an easier way to figure this out be to measure the length of the racket, find the exact middle point from one end then balance the racket. then find wherever the actualy balance point is you measure that distance from the balance point to the actual center and that tells you the pts headlight or headheavy? for instance, if a racket was 27" then the exact middle would be 13 1/2 inches. then you balanced this racket and the balance point was 1/2 inch from the center towards the handle, would that make the balance of this racket 4 points headlight?

Unless the action is less complex than the explaination, then no. Besides, I figure he's working with printed specs, so I gave him some things to work with numbers on. *shrug*

Amone, I know you are into this racquet maths stuff but..... You do it like this: ((Balance point/2.54)-(length/2))*8 but can't you do.... (((length/2)-balance point)/2.54)*8? So say the Balance point was 31 and length was 70...using your way: ((31-35)/2.54)*8= -12.6 My way: ((35-31)/2.54)*8= 12.6 Just rids the negative....

Duzza, the negative is there to say it is HL. You method will make HL's to positive and HH to negative. I "THINK" that negative value is the generally accepted value for HL.
