How do you like the FO beginning on a Sunday?

    I think its a simple and smart idea to have a GS tournament over 3 Sundays. Great for TV , fans and sponsors. It also makes the schedule less cramped with the one extra day and may prevent some potential scheduling nightmares we have seen lately in the USO and AO.

    Maybe Wimbledon do should do away with the tradition of not playing on the middle Sunday....does not make sense in this day and age.

    theres usually never any good first round match ups many non die hard fans wanna watch... i usually just check the results for 1st rounds and sometimes even second rounds. and also first rounds arent that important either.

    I am a real advocate of starting the Slams on a Sunday. And not just some 1st round matches of unseeded players, but some of the top players. To attract fans, have the defending champs for both the women and the men play. Add another well known top 10 player, like Roddick or Venus Williams. To cap of the day, then play the french favourites who are lower on the scale, yet not complete outiders (ranked from 15 - 40)

    I think Serena played Sunday last yr, and I'm not sure, but Djokovic may have too.
