Reproduce his quarter final of last year? Semi's?, final? I know he will get the number 1 if he wins the tournament, but what does he have to do to get number 2?

He already has it I believe. Nadal just lost a ton of points.

He's already got it. Even if he loses tomorrow, he's number 2 after tournament.

Who cares about No. 2. He needs to win it

    - Record tying 7th Wimbledon..
    - 17th Grand slam
    - Becomes No.1 again and break's Sampras's record

Nadal lost his 1200 pts from last year, and gained 45 for the R2 defeat, giving him a post-Wimbledon total of 8905.

Roger will drop 360 pts from last year's QF loss to Tsonga, giving him 9075 plus whatever points he gains this year (at least 90, since he's already through to the third round).

So he's definitely got the #2 ranking back. The gap between them will depend on how deep Federer goes:
    • 3R loss: 260 points
    • 4R loss: 350 points
    • QF loss: 530 points
    • SF loss: 890 points
    • Loses in the final: 1370 points
    • Wins the final: 2170 points, and leapfrogs Djokovic as well to reach #1

    Regards,

I think most people want Murray to win if Federer is knocked out before or by Djokovic. Could be the chance of a lifetime for the poor guy.

Couple things I noticed from the stats.

    1. Almagro's going to take over the top 10 now, it looks like. Congrats to him because he's worked for it. I just hope he gets a couple weeks rest. He has played a ton and actually dropped a couple places earlier in the year because of it.

    2. Brian Baker is 98 right now. If he someone won the whole shebang, he might be looking at top 12-15. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. What a run he is making.

    3. Murray has to have at least a semifinal showing for this not to completely bomb. He was once about 3000-3500 points ahead of #5(either Ferrer or Jo-Willie, depending on the time), now it's only 1300. He loses points here and either are right on his heels for #4 after Wimby.

    Your sig is obsolete now.

Let's hope for Fed Murray and Djokodal semis.
