How good are these strings?

    A friend of mine just gave me some strings which he brought from a trip he had, they are:

    Dunlop Sport, Synthetic Gut, 16 gauge

    This is the only feedback from the TW website.
    It's a cheap syn gut, and would seem to play like a cheap syn gut

    Try it out, you may have different views to the above

    Ooof! That guy is cheap alright, he's a 59-60 year old family friend who thinks he knows all about tennis.

    I told him that, if he were to bring some strings, bring some poly at least. But he showed up with these all like "these are so good, I'm doing you a favor" haha.

    Maybe I won't use them then, because I just broke strings 2 days ago and I have my racket without strings right now.

    If he gave them to you, you've got nothing to lose. String up ur stick, you might be pleasantly surprised.

    Exactly, you can easily cut them out if they suck.
