How hard do men serve to women in mixed doubles in competitive, non-exhibition games?
It would be interesting to see if there is any difference in pace of men's serves between when they serve to the male opponent and when the serve to the female opponent.

BTW, is the Hyundai Hopman Cup a true competition or more like an exhibition?

Hopman Cup is more than an exo, little less than Davis Cup I'd say. Matches are played 100% competitively but with more of a fun natured atmosphere than usual.

As for serving, I have no statistics but men don't seem to serve any differently to women. Mixed doubles is a legit form of tennis, it wouldn't make sense to ease up on your opponent.

Dimitry Tursunov once took off his shirt, put on his mixed doubles partner's shirt, and served a reverse slice serve at the Hopman Cup.

    That should be enough.
