My shop has them on sale for $9 and I thought about picking up a set.

Great price, my son says this is his favorite of the Luxilon strings. I have hit with his racket, by I am staying away from poly's...

Its a nice string, it has a lot of control and a really crisp feel. I would still use it if it didnt break for me in 1 hour.

ace is 18g and nice nice nice. excellent bite and a softer and crisper feel. plays like timo as they carry the same thin guage feel.

ace or timo or any 18g poly is what players should experience first before going to the longer lasting polys

    IMO

Ace didn't seem any different to me than any other poly I've tried. Just as stiff, just as little power and great control. Nothing special.

ace is my least favorite luxilon as i found it too springy...it seems like a string that people either love or hate for the most part--at least that's what i have found with my customers
