The Prince Original Graphite OS (107") and the Wilson HPS 5.0 (95") have nearly identical static weights and swingweights...however, the HPS 5.0 feels much lighter to play with. How can this be the case? Forget that they don't play the same from a power/stiffness standpoint, shouldn't they both feel similar before contact?

    Thanks!

    The balance is probably different?

    Prince Wilson
Static Weight 12.3 oz. 12.3 oz.
    Swingweight 326 gr. 326 gr.
    Points HL 9 10

Not a lot of difference...does the headsize have that much of an effect on the way a racquet swings...all other things being equal?

Even at moderate to fast swing speeds air resistance makes a difference. The larger headed racquet needs to displace more air than a smaller headed one when swung. From my own experience a midsize swings much more easily than an OS of the same balance and static and swing weight.

The racquet's cross-sectional shape also makes a difference.
