I am playing in vapors now and they are really comfortable, but how long do they usually last?
Depends on how you play really. Mine usually last on average about 6months, but that has varied
3 months for me but I play everyday. They were great shoes for that time though
I get 3 months out of them too, playing 3-4 times a week, I'm 175lbs.
the bottom-toe area for me gets worn down very fast.
the rest of the shoe still looks great and i have a tendency
to keep wearing them way past their prime.
i just wish they would make the front of the shoe more durable.
I wore some V's out in 6 weeks, playing everyday 2-3 hours with conditioning, hard court.
the new one is a bit more durable than the previous, but i like the provious more.
they last 3 months playing on hardcourts, obviously, right?
depends how long you play and on which surface...
Vapor V - 4 months MAX (3-4 times per week and I am heavy). The best tennis shoe ever. I do not care about durability...
Vapour V- 3 months playing 2-3 times a week, left toe worn through.
i go through barricades in 2 months how do u guys keep vapirs for longer
I believe, but could be wrong, a big factor of how long a tennis shoe lasts is how much you condition and do sprints in the shoe... whether you often you run every ball down.
Also the hotter the court and the more you're using all of the shoes traction, the faster it will wear down.
It's how fast you're going and how hard you stop that wears the shoes down the most. When I wore my vapors down in 6 weeks I was playing 2 hours a day with at least 30 minutes on court conditioning 6 days a week.
