Assuming Nadal/Djokovic becomes "the Grand Slam King" (wins the most Grand Slams), how many Grand Slams do you think each will play as "the Grand Slam King"?

Sampras played 9 Grand Slams after 2000 Wimbledon

Federer played 38 Grand Slams after 2009 Wimbledon (2021 French Open and 2021 Wimbledon not included as he was tied with Nadal)

Just extraordinary motivation by Federer to play so many Grand Slams as King.

Well, only indicative of Fed having much success very early in his career compared to Djokodal having more success later in their careers, and Fed having a much lower fence to jump over.

13, he will finish with Wimbledon 2026

I say 14, i can see him playing the entire 2026 season and maybe even play in ATP finals for the last time as his last tournament...he ain't gonna retire without having played all 4 slams in a season, sounds like weird timing to me to choose to retire, especially considering, that Wimbledon is not his pet slam and i doubt he'll choose his pet slam as retirement location!

I don't think he will CHOOSE anything as a retirement location by himself. Just like with Federer and Nadal he will be there until his body takes a "decision" for him one day. Hopefully that's far away, but that's how they all will go out. And it's fitting for those 3 warriors: Fighting until the end, until nothing is possible anymore, until their whole potential is reached. This also has the effect that they don't just reach the targets that the past had offered for them, but that every single one of their records is a fair record for future generations to charge. They couldn't show more respect to the whole timeline of tennis history from past, present to future.

He will be almost 40 yo. Wimbledon will be he's last GS because he can win with least effort. I don't say he will but he can go deep into the tournament. And actually last half decade Wimbledon is his pet slam.
