    actually i believe its 326 or something like that
    b/c one time our science teacher was talking about the most ridiculous science fairs his students have ever come up with and "how many licks to the center of a tootsie pop" was one of them.

    Duke University did a study on this, like waht hgb765 said, it was like around 300.
