Four. Three for me, and one dog "loaner" racquet I can offer to losers who only bring one racquet and then want to borrow one of mine when they break a string.

3...I typically have two racquets that are the same (model, string, tension, overgrip, rubberband, etc.) and then another one that I can go to if I break strings in the first two or start getting beat so bad I need to try something new.

Just curious, why do some of you take more than 3 racquets with you? Is it because you are breaking strings very often or is it more of a
"look good" thing? Again, just curious.

I don't personally change the contents of my bag, whether i'm practising or playing tournie matches, and i lend out rackets to people, like to try a different one sometime's etc, so i put quite a few in there.

I just can't deicde which one is better for me and keep switching the racquets based on how I feel, the surface and the opponent.

For instance, sometimes I use my n6.1 Tour 90 for just a recreational rally and lighter games. I practice with PS 6.0 85 b/c it feels really good. I switch to LM Prestige when I play competitively with a stronger opponent. Make sense? :)

    2. Three is overkill as I've never broken a string in a matchplay situation, but you never know...

i carry 4-5 of the same racquet/grip size/string tension...not trying to be hardass but i break a lot of strings. 2 per match isnt terribly unusual.
