What's the average weight of leather grips? I removed it and am using 2 overgrips instead. 1 inch of tape equals ~1/2 gram, so if i can find out the weight of leather, I can compensate for its removal.

Well, wehn you take the weight before and after with and without the leather grip, you'll know the weight in grammes you need. Then you weigh your lead tape, make sure you take teh backing off first before you weigh it, and then bob's your uncle, you know how much you need to apply.
