Sorry if these questions have been answered before. How much weight does string add to an unstrung frame? How does string affect the balance point of an unstrung racket? Thanks for your help!

The strings will add about 14 grams and make the balance point about 2.5 points less head light.

(These numbers are for a 100" head, 16x19 string pattern, 1.25mm synthetic gut string.)

    Btw, 1 ounce = 28.35 grams.

    Hope this helps.

I'm not sure but I thought i goes like this: Gut > Multi > Poly (Heavier > Lighter)
