    Static weight?

If you lay just the tip on the food scale and the buttcap on something that makes the racket relatively horizontal, how many grams does it show?

I added just 4 grams stretching between 11 and 1 spots, and I shanked too many shots due to off timing. With this lead, my apd weighs 323 grams.

Can you guys share your numbers?

I'd like to get my apd to its "official" weight and feel as close as possible, but I am not sure how. Does it weigh exactly 10.6 unstrung?

On babolat racket's throat, what does the "balance 320 mm (+/-7)" mean? Can someone explain?

It means that Balance point can be in the range from 313mm to 327mm AND stay within specs.

Mine weigh 327 grams with string so they are much heavier than stock. Quite like this chubby aero.

Some of them do. Btw, their tolerance levels are very loose both for static weight and balance. PDs have pretty much the same tolerance for weight and balance: my PD has sw 321 and my friend's 337?! 2 totally different racquets...

OK, I got the part about + - 7, but is 320mm the distance from butcap?

I guess since it"s so hard to match two same racket to exact feel and weight without a professional service, we might as well forget about getting a second racket, right? This is why i'm reluctant to buy the next gt or RG edition though I like them very much!!!!!

    Yes, it is.

Well, if you have them in your local tennis shop you can pretty much 'match' them with a very simple procedure. Or you can talk to superior TW CS and ask them to do that for you.

You can certainly buy them if you are willing to follow a simple procedure :) Maybe a year ago when I bought 2 PDRs, I had my little digital scale with me and I measured several frames. I found 2 that were within 1 gram. Fortunately, they also were 2mm apart balance wise (you can also measure this on site very easily). Btw, you do not have to remove paper inserts, or anything else from a brand new racquet in order to take measurements because they all have the same additional weight on them (inserts, plastic on handle, dampener etc...)
