I live in Northern NJ, 10 min outside of NYC & @ the moment, we've got 12 inches of snow on the ground (since noon). Can you tell I'm bored?

    Hey Fellow Snow Watchers!!!

I live between Buffalo and Rochester, NY Exit 48A Interstate 90... we get about 200 inches each year....The most we ever got in a 2 day period was 7 feet, about 4 years ago... the day after Christmas. They are saying the NYC/NJ area will get about 3 feet... you have about 4 feet left to impress me... :). Back to current snow total... the storm is sort of missing us..we will only get about 1 foot or so. The Sunday NFL games should be great to see. Have great day... warm up the snow****ers.

We're slowing down here in NNJ, just like the weatherpeople said. Until the 2nd storm hits around 1am. We're only @ 13 inches & counting here.

Snow? What's snow? Hasn't snowed here in 15 years... sometime before I started school at least.

Good point, however, the weather here this weekend is an anomaly. I wouldn't say New Jersey has the perfect winter weather, but if this is the only snow we get all winter, I wouldn't complain.

In Minneapolis, we only had about 6 inches, but it was the first significant snowfall of the year in the Cities.

Lifetime in NJ, retired to AZ. Look forward to a little snow here once in awhile at 3500 feet; usually gone within a couple of hours of southwestern sunshine. Definitely don't miss shoveling ;-) Took me 7+ years, but don't think I could handle northeast winter anymore-even NJ.
