Hi, I was just wondering how much space you should try to leave in between your toes and the front of the shoe. First of all, I'm done growing and I have never really gotten new shoes: I would wear them till my foot was literally touching the ground. So I'm kinda new to this and I got my pumps today and it seems like theres a good amount of space say 1-1.5 inches between my foot and the front. Also, it seemed like the back of my foot was going to continuously fall out when I walked. Thanks for your help.

the space should be about an index finger wide. if it feels as though your heel is going to fall out, i think you may have ordered too big of size

A good sports shoe shop should be able to do a proper fitting and measurement.
