How often do you play the game?

My average weekly schedule is this:

Monday night: Practice serving by myself (approx 60 mins) or have a hit/practice set/match with a member of my pennants team for approx 1.5 to 2 hours. Maybe a cardio-tennis workout instead for 1 hour.

Wednesday night: Night social league tennis for 2 hours, which has just started. Team format with one singles and two doubles matches each, 11 games long matches, sudden death duece format.

Saturday Afternoon: Pennants tennis (one match of 3 set singles and one match 3 set dobules), or if there is a break in the season like this mammoth 6 week break we have over christmas, I'll play scheduled social tennis at my club instead (30 mins doubles x 6). Approx 4hours all up including breaks.

If I had it my way i.e didnt have to work, no GF/family commitments I would literally play every single day. Thats how much I enjoy playing. But saying that, give me playing games and doing structured drills over mindless hitting anyday. Can only tolerate mindless hitting for about 15 minutes before my head is done in.

I have once a week private session with a coach and once a week group training, but honestly I am only doing the group training because it's winter and I wouldn't have that much court time otherwise. I get one hour in on the weekends as well.

In summer I play 4 or 5 times a week. As much as my body will allow.

Gotta love Australian winters - they are actually better conditions for tennis. Cool, no breeze, less people on courts

In the winter, 10 to 15 hours a week. In the summer, 15 to 20 hours a week.

Mixture of matches, training, drilling and lessons.

SO lucky!

Here we can only play May-Oct.

I very much dislike playing indoors so I don't play in winter/ don't have time for it.
