Yearly. And this year it seems to have slowed a touch more again. Not sure if this is the case or, if it is and a deliberate move for whatever reason but I spoke to the guy who layed the AO courts about a year ago when they laid the same type of courts near my house and he said while they can get them all almost the same in terms of speed/bounce they still have slight differences including those caused by how much use they get, how much sunlight, the temperature etc.

The ones I play on, (in-theory) the same speed/bounce as the AO, are really slow compared to all other hard courts I play on, plain asphalt included. The ball bounds about 1m+ less towards you off the ground and just seems to lag heaps. It takes some serious adjusting to unless you play on them regularly.
