I've got a lot of sets of Gosen Micro I bought awhile back on the big auction site, and another big bunch of PSGD sets from the infamous "penny string" error on a couple of online sites some time ago. But I'm only using these syn guts for cross strings with poly mains, so it looks like I'll have enough syn for many years at the rate I go through it. Now, my question is how old is this Gosen Micro that I have? If it's already very old and it's going to take me years to go through it, maybe I should resell some of it back on the auction site before it's too old to use. I see three different packaging schemes (pics below) for Gosen OG Sheep Micro and I've got most of it in the first sort of package, and a few sets in the third package type. I suspect the first package type is an older packaging, but the strings are playing great, and I favor them over the much newer PSGD. Does anyone have an idea when these different package types were in use? Or is the package type a regional difference instead of an indicator of age?
