    ^^^Yup, I'd agree with that. Rafa, Roger and Fernando Verdasco tend to make contact with the arm virtually straight but the rest of their mechanics are excellent and not dissimilar to the many double bend forehands you see out there. The straight arm contact is merely a function of the extension, like 5263 says, and probably not something you should be focussed on, unless you find that after learning the correct shape for the rest of the swing that it happens naturally for you.

    Thanks a lot for the help! Also, what grip should I use? Im an all courter who likes to come to net and be offensive from the baseline.

    ^^^I would go index knuckle on bevel 3 or 4, somewhere around there.

    SHUT, I saw this only now. I will try anyway.
    Right now I am devastated by the loss by proxy of my RG Trophy......Arrrgh, I was too nervous and I was not moving, and then that stupid umpire gave the ball to the opponent! That set should have been mine....I mean hers....
    OK, back to learning the basics, LOADS of topspin please.
