Hi. What is the correct way to install this dampener: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageACHEAD-HSZVIB.html ? My friend said to just latch it across the strings above the first horizontal string. But, it didn't seem to have any effect. So, I latched it above the first horizontal string, except I alternated it between the strings. My other theory was to put it below the first horizontal string. Seems so basic, but I have no idea what the intended location of this thing is. Any ideas?

Thread it through the mains (vertical strings) and below the last cross (horizontal string) then secure it by putting the hooks on the strings.

Yep, just weave it through and hook. One hook should be hooked on the front of the frame (whichever that is) and the other on the other side, which allows it to look uniform and not come off so easily. It will go across quite a few strings, so make sure it's pulled tight. Nice choice on the dampener.

Cool, thanks. Does it have to be fully extended. I did it and it seems sort of scrunched up a bit. Tell me what you think about this: http://duke3d.org/head.png
