How to involve oblique muscles in your serve?

    It seems that when I got a powerful serve, I always feel a tightness in my left oblique muscles in my trophy pose. How can I involve more oblique muscles in my serve?

    i assume you are righthanded . you should not feel a tightness in you left obliques but a stretch as your left hand is up then a contraction as you go to contact
