it has an 18 20 string patter you arent going ot ger much out of it unless you switch to a textured string and put string savers in i find they work well to make spin

i use the standard length version of this racket and my kick serve is better with this racquet than with any other ive ever hit with. Just swing free (not hard) with good technique and the spin produces itself

so its the racquets fault! give your self a higher toss, on top of your forehead and swing up the back of the ball. turn your wrist down over the ball to create that huge spin. make sure your leftside is very tight and strong and doesnt drop early. also make sure your body when its rotation is complete is perpandicular (90 degrees) to the net. this prevents the leg from whipping around and pulling the ball wide.

You could blame your strings or racquet, but your technique is probably to blame. The best you could do is use textured or thinner strings for more bite. Ask your coach how to hit a kick serve. If you don't know any good instructors, look up how to hit a good kick serve on the Tennis Tips/Instruction section.

what's the infatuation with a huge kick serve? all you need is a serve that reduces your risk of double faults.

Try to BRUSH the ball from the position of 0600 to 1200 or 0800 to 0200. That will make topspin. BRUSH the ball from 0900 to 0300 will make sidespin (left handed player from 0300 to 0900). Be careful with sidespin if it is not wide enough and you will receive a deadly return.

ok. i'm with you on this one. however, if they are short u don't need a huge kicker to make them jump. a regular spinny one will do just fine.
