I have a Bancroft Bjorn Borg Autograph wood racquet that I want to stencil, but I cant find a decent picture of the stencil that he used on his Bancroft sticks.. Can anyone show me a pic that shows the Bancroft B clearly? I am guessing is was the stylish B, and not the bulky B with the tennis racket shape in the middle?

I recall seeing the VS logo (Babolat VS strings) on his Bancroft racquets but don't remember which, if any Bancroft logo was featured. Don/Tennis Warehouse

I remember Borg having just a regular capital "B" on his Bancroft racquets for the U.S.A. I could not find a photo of Borg either with his Bancroft but I did find one of Billie Jean King with one of her Bancroft and it was the same stencil.

    Hope this helps.

pretty wild Borg used Donnay in Europe & Bancroft when he hit the U.S. the Bancroft was just a "beefed up" version of the Player's Special that King is using in the photo.

Yes, the Borg Bancroft was a Bancroft Player's Special with a paintjob and a longer grip.

All the talk on these threads about how Federer uses a paintjob racquet. I think Borg had to be one of the first to do it. He and his coach were so meticulous about his equipment the Donnay Borg Allwood and the Bancroft Borg had to be paintjobs of the same racquet. I don't know which he used but I suspect it was a Donnay. I also seem to recall him playing with a black painted racquet once when he was between contracts. It was very strange to see this because he was like a walking endorsement ad and everyone wanted whatever he had.

I also seem to recall sometimes he had "VS" stenciled on his strings.
