Are they all going to come to the USA to further develop their games or stick with the Super Mario tennis method ?

Wow. I'm speechless. That is at least fifty or sixty times more dorky than I could ever have imagined.

I can't agree more, that was far and away the dorkiest tennis related thing I have ever seen.

Oh my God, I almost forgot why I love the Japanese.

You gotta be at least a 5.0 to make sparks fly off of your racquet though.

If they scraping the head of the racket like that, they better have a headguard made out of Titanium. or they have to go to new rackets every other game.

I only watched about half - up to when the guy uses samurai swords to slice hundreds of tennis balls and when the kid does this forehand and the ball sits on the strings forever while he howls and howls .... too embarrassed to finish watching rofl :D

Hahahaha, the ATP Tour better watch out for those Japanese players. I don't think Federer, Nadal, Roddick, and company are ready for such shots as the Snake, Boomarang Snake, Twist Serve, etc. Echizen would own them all!

That guy (gal?) lost because he(she?) caught the ball before the 2nd bounce (on the oppponent's court and back)...

And then there are a lot of double hit...

I don't get it. That has nothing to do with Soccer. Is that meant to be Shaolin singing?

I used to love "Slam Dunk". Mostly it was rather realistic with lots of drama and well developed characters. Why can't we have something like that for tennis? This is Stupid...:(

There's no need to, the anime kicks absolute ass. You have to have a bit of imagination to watch it, obviously the techniques aren't realistic and some rules are broken here and there, but thats the fun of watching it. Isn't the whole point of watching cartoons to see them do things that we can't do anyways?

To each his own but I don't find anime fun by any means with all the slow motion and super power abilities that goes with it. In the prince of tennis stuff I find being able to hit all these ridiculous over the top shots just stupid and annoying. The same goes for the rest of anime I have seen.

Jeez:shock:you are taking it way too seriously, buddy. This was meant to be an anime inspired "comedy" I thought it was quite interesting and funny. Chill out.

    that's some nasty spin.

and anime is not just for kids; the term anime means animation from japan. i.e. dora the explorer is for children but south park is not, but both are american animation. get itt?

I'm big on Japanese stuff, but not too crazy about the video. The Prince of Tennis was cool, but turning it into a live show was awful. Another comic turned live show failure.

^I don't think the intent was to make an epic movie. Live-action based on anime are usually just fanservice for the majority of the girl viewers. Low budget and profitable, everyone wins.
